Weddings and Commitment Ceremonies

We wanted someone to lead our wedding ceremony who would capture the spiritual nature of our union in a non-denominational setting. We also wanted it to be both conventional and uniquely special at the same time. Lisa spent time learning about us as individuals, and as partners. She gained a strong sense of our love story but also deeply understood our practical goals for the wedding. Though she had known us only a short time she was able to speak eloquently and acurately about our friendship and partnership. In terms of our practical goals, she was able to create a wedding ceremony that seamlessly incorporated religious rituals and honored the varied beliefs of those who gathered. Lisa suggested that we write letters to each other rather than vows. She read them to us for the first time at our wedding. This was extremely memorable for us and our family and friends. Lisa is an Ordained Minister with the Universal Life Church. She holds an MA in Culture and Creation Spirituality from Holy Names College and is a Sacred Courtesan and Shamanic Soul Coach. She has been performing wedding ceremonies in a variety of locations for almost 20 years. While there are no guarantees, each couple for whom she has officiated is still happily married. Perhaps it's the type of couples that are drawn to her. Perhaps it's the way that they enter this commitment.
