About Grant and LisaWith over 60 years of combined experience in developing and conducting bodymind programs, this unique teaching duo is committed to sharing shamanic wisdom on how to maintain a remarkable enthusiasm for life. Honoring their shared heritage as Native American Cherokee, they continuously uphold our responsibility to the earth while helping us to more fully embrace our relationship to it. Annual journeys to Australia foster their connection to aboriginal dreamtime and deep connection with their animal spirit guides. Embracing a shared connection with the dolphin, they bring playfulness and a sense of community into their teachings. Grant is an avid outdoorsman, living between oceanic, forest, and desert environments, and an international award winning documentary feature filmmaker, surfer, and author. He has been practicing yoga for 30 years and teaching yoga for 22 years. Lisa is an internationally recognized registered dietitian nutritionist, shamanic soul coach, minister, mother, and author. With graduate degrees in both public health nutrition (UC Berkeley) and culture and creation spirituality (Holy Names College), she is highly and uniquely qualified to help us understand our dynamic relationship with food.
