Hooray! Cuddle Parties have come to Seattle!
Cuddle Party is a new kind of workshop/social event that allows participants to re-discover affectionate touch in a safe, fun, non-sexual setting.
Created in New York three years ago by two relationship coaches, Cuddle Party lets you:
- Learn valuable communication skills
- Set boundaries clearly and straightforwardly
- Experience the value of giving and receiving affectionate touch in a safe, non-sexual setting, where your boundaries will be respected.
Cuddle Party is a non-sexual event! Participants remain clothed in pajamas and agree to abide by the Cuddle Party rules, which include, among others:
- Everyone arrives on time for the welcome circle/orientation.
- Participants ask for what they want and must get a verbal “yes” before proceeding.
- You don’t have to cuddle anyone you don’t want to, or anyone at all, ever.
You can come to a Cuddle Party to touch, to be touched, to meet new people, to enjoy amazing conversations, to have fun, to practice asking for what you want, to practice setting boundaries by saying “no” to what you don’t want — and all in an environment structured to be a safe space for exploration and enjoyment.
Upcoming Cuddle Party events are:
** Tuesday, May 29, 7 pm
They are usually held in the neighborhood of 23rd and Jackson, in Seattle.
